| D3100 RF Modem 800 MHz
The Enhanced Digital Access Communications System (EDACS)
trunked D3100 RF Modem supports high-performance data applications. The
unit can operate on either the proprietary EDACS-DI protocol or
Distributed Network Protocol (DNP3). The D3100 RF Modem is effective for a
range of applications such as supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA),
meter reading, and other forms of telemetry operating over an 800 MHz
EDACS trunked system. |
 |
| Radio TextLink
M/A-COM’s Radio TextLink is an Internet Protocol (IP)
application that enables portable and mobile radio users to receive,
display, and respond to text messages sent between authorized radios and
hosts on ProVoice, EDACS, and P25IP systems. Radio TextLink
provides mobile users with an effective communications tool. |

ProVoice™ MASTR® III Stations
The MASTR III, built on the tradition of the popular
MASTR series of repeaters, is an industry leader in performance,
flexibility, and reliability. The MASTR III is available with M/A-COM’s
latest digital technology, ProVoice, featuring the Improved MultiBand
Excitation (IMBE™) vocoder. The MASTR III provides innovations such as
fully shielded and removable modules, front-mounted controls, and
remote diagnostics. |
 |
| EDACS® MASTR® III Auxiliary Receiver

 |
| Centralized Telephone Interconnect
The Centralized Telephone Interconnect (CTI) system
connects the M/A-COM Enhanced Digital Access Communication System (EDACS)
trunked radio network to a local Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN),
allowing radio users to place and receive telephone calls across the
multisite network. For calls originating from a telephone, CTI represents
a single point of entry to every site in the EDACS trunked network. CTI
provides the convenience and ease of using a telephone system while
retaining critical communication radio features. |

Integrated EDACS Alarms (IEA)
IEA's graphical user interface (GUI) allows users to
configure the test and alarm system, monitor alarm events, and remotely
control EDACS equipment such as GPS receivers, Intraplex Multiplexers, and
MASTR® III Base Stations. This user-friendly GUI provides multiple ways
of viewing EDACS system status - including the Tree View, Map View, and
Properties View. Each view features pull-down menus and status bars
similar to most Windows® XP/ Windows Server 2003 applications. Users can
easily view the comprehensive status of the entire EDACS system and
continue to reconfigure equipment as needed to provide effective
communications. |
 |
| IP Multisite and Console Controller (IpMC)
The IpMC creates a fully integrated wide-area system
that supports voice and data communications. It enables users to remain in
contact with dispatchers and other field units at all times as well as
track the location of each trunked radio in the network.
The IpMC uses an Ethernet LAN for fast data transfer
between controller cards, management devices, and dispatch consoles. The
standard IpMC features include total end-to-end access times under 500
milliseconds and capabilities of processing up to 96 calls per second. |
